Twitter Users Reached 145 Million

One of Twitter founder, Evan Williams stated that Twitter had more than 145 million users. Williams, in the one of the posting in Twitter blog also said that almost 300 thousand application third side has developed in this 140 characters posting service.

"The new service will help people to get maximum result of Twitter, contribute to the development of the new business, and it is important for long life" said Williams
The CEO of Twitter said that the number of Twitter users increase 62 percents since the middle of April and 16 percents of new users of mobile Twitter. He also said that 66 percent Twitter users use mobile tools.
Twitter took again mobile application third side that named Tweetie in April and change it into Twitter. It is for Iphone tools made by Apple. This application also supports for Blackberry with android operation system.
William announced top ten applications that are used to access Twitter during 30 days. 78% used Twitter.com, 14% used m.twitter.com, 8% used SMS, 8% used iPhone, and 7% used Blackberry.
