Mail.com Media Corporation or MMC as its owner agreed to cast lose its domain and the email service to the united internet AG, the Germany telecommunication company. The value of the sale is not announced. But, it is estimated that the value is between 50 million dollar and 100 million dollar.

In the announcement, MMC stated that they had reached approval with united internet AG in the sale transaction. MMC is still being the provider in mail.com. Beside, the email users in mail.com will exchange into GMX mail that is the service of united internet AG email. The users may still be able to use email address with mail.com domain. But, the appearance uses the new platform of GMX mail.

The sale of mail.com affirmed that the step of MMC is good to focus to the online digital media business. For the several weeks again, MMC promises that they will announce the identity of the new company. Beside mail.com service, MMC also has OnCars, Deadline.com, Movieline.com, and Boy Genius Report.
